Rapid Inform Records Review

Android package: uk.co.rapidinform.records.rapidintel.field

Last updated: 20 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RAPID ANALYTICS LTD handles information in connection with the Rapid Inform Records Review Android application, package name uk.co.rapidinform.records.rapidintel.field.

Rapid Inform Records Review is a local-first records-pack condition review tool. It structures an internal readiness inspection and produces an informational export summary from the notes and inspection statuses entered by the user. The application operates without accounts and without live services.

Because the core workflow runs on the device, the material the app holds is created on, and kept on, the user's own Android device. This policy sets out what that means in practice.

Local App Data

The application stores the user's review work locally on the Android device. Depending on what the user enters and saves, this local app content may include:

  • Reviews
  • Category statuses
  • Notes
  • Issue clusters
  • Action pack items
  • Export history where needed
  • User preferences
  • Content created during a review that is autosaved locally

On-Device Storage and Developer Access

Local app content is held on the device. It is not automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow, and RAPID ANALYTICS LTD does not receive it through the normal operation of the application.

The application does not require personal identity information for its core workflow. Notes and other free-text fields are written by the user, so locally stored content may contain personal information if the user chooses to enter it.

Where a user contacts the company by email, the company receives the email address and whatever the message contains. That correspondence is direct contact between the user and the company and is separate from the review content held on the device.

Export and External Actions

Records Review can produce an export summary, and exporting or sharing is available only when the user chooses to do so. Exported material is handed to another application through the Android share sheet, which the user selects and controls.

The application may also open a web page in the browser when the user taps a link. These external actions happen only on the user's instruction, and the external applications and services involved operate under their own privacy practices.

Locally created content therefore remains on the device unless the user chooses to export, copy or share it.

What the App Does Not Include

Rapid Inform Records Review does not include login or account registration, payment processing, subscriptions, or monetisation features, and it does not operate cloud synchronisation or a server-side store for review content.

Important Use Notice

Outputs produced by the application are based on the observations, statuses and notes entered by the user. They are intended as an informational and practical review aid only.

They are not a certification, professional sign-off, regulatory clearance or evidential authority, and they are not legal, financial, insurance or regulatory advice. Users remain responsible for the judgements they draw from a review and for any decisions taken as a result.

Retention

Local review data remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears the application's local data, or uninstalls the application. Local app data can be removed through the Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.

Exported files remain wherever the user has chosen to save or share them, and are outside the application's control at that point.

Security

Local app content is kept within the application's own storage on the device and is not held on company servers. Protecting the device itself, for example with the screen lock the user configures, remains with the user, as does looking after any exported files.

UK / EEA Data Rights

Users in the UK or the EEA may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, including rights of access, correction, deletion and restriction, where applicable under law. Availability of those rights depends on whether personal data is processed and on the circumstances of the request.

Because the core workflow keeps content on the device, locally stored data can usually be reviewed, changed or removed on the device itself, or by uninstalling the application. Requests concerning correspondence sent directly to the company can be made using the contact details below.

Children's Privacy (13+)

Rapid Inform Records Review is intended for users aged 13 and above. It is not directed to children under 13, and RAPID ANALYTICS LTD does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If personal data from a child under 13 is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or otherwise address the situation.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the application or in applicable requirements. The revision date shown with this policy is updated whenever the policy changes. Questions about the current version can be raised using the contact details below.
